Two Tamil Women's journals: Matar Manorancani (1899-1917); Pen Kalvi (1911-1918).

Reasons for consideration:

SAMP OAi has established women’s literature as a priority. Both journals focus on women’s education and are heavily cited in the article, “Emotion, Identity, and the Female Subject: Tamil Women’s Magazines in Colonial India, 1890-1940”, Journal of Women’s History (Mytheli Sreenivas, 2003).
