Description & Rationale
Additional materials related to this proposal are available only to logged-in member users.

Selected newspapers published in sub-Saharan Africa between 1800 and 1922, microfilmed and held by the British Library.

Reasons for consideration:

Primary source materials on African history are scarce, and are valuable for both humanities and social science research on the region. The titles proposed wre identified as important by Africanists and area studies specialists at major U.S. libraries and at the British Library.
